CASA and McNay are partnering up!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership between CASA and the McNay. Advocates and the children they serve will benefit from all the educational events the McNay offers.

Did you know that admission to the museum and grounds is free on Thursday nights and the first Sunday of the month (12-5 pm)? This is a great opportunity for CASA Advocates and families to take advantage of!  Be sure to check out the McNay Family Events Page and some of their events below!

The McNay has generously provided CASA with passes to visit the museum with their CASA children – so stay tuned for more information!  Additionally, they are offering free spots at the following events for CASA Advocates – all you need to do is let ereise@casa-satx.org know what events you plan on attending so we can reserve your spot.

Family Art Play: The McNay typically offers a family program on the last Sunday of the month. Check out some of the upcoming ones!

Think your kids are too little for art museums?  Think again and take a look at these fun activities for little ones.

  • Toddler Art Play: Mini museum visit meets creative playtime. The event will be for children under 5. Weather permitting, projects are held outdoors.  The McNay offers Toddler Art Play on the 2nd Friday of every month at 10:30 am.
  • You can also take your little ones on ArtStrolls on Fridays in November where you explore the McNay with your little one during a stroller tour and related sensory playtime (10 AM for children under 12 months and 11 AM for children 12 – 24 months).

We are gaining valuable support in the community from the McNay with their amazing staff and artists to provide our children with experiences they’ll never forget! CASA Advocates – don’t miss out!  Let us know what events you’d like to reserve a spot for today!
