CASA and Junior League San Antonio Art and Soul

CASA and Junior League are partnering up for an Art and Soul on June 14th from 3 – 5 pm at the CASA office! Join us for a creative and unique art project exploring the artist we have within us all. We’ll be working on Water Color Crayon Art where we’ll use crayons and water colors to create unique expressions of our creativity. The Art and Soul project allow us to spend quality time with our CASA kids and provide a special, safe place to engage and interact with the children we continue to serve – all while creating beautiful art work!

Not only will you and your CASA kiddos create art for them to take home, but they will also be making art to leave at CASA (and their art might even be showcased in our Annual Gallery of Hope!).

Snacks and drinks will be provided for all of those attending! If you’re interested in bringing your CASA kids, please RSVP to kunger@casa-satx.org by June 10. Hope to see you there!

Join CASA for a fun morning in the park with the Hemisfair Conservancy!

Join CASA at the Hemisfair Conservancy at the Yanguana Garden on June 20 from 10am-12pm for a fun filled morning! We will interact and play with big blue engineering blocks to explore and inspire our CASA kids to design their own unique inventions and activities. Not only will this give you a couple of hours of time to bond with your CASA kid, but they will be deeply engaged in a unique opportunity to discover their inner engineer.

The Yanguana Gardens is located on 434 S. Alamo St and parking will be free in the SAISD lot across the street on Cesar Chavez Blvd. To RSVP, please contact Forrest Miller at fmiller@casa-satx.org by June 15th with the number of CASA kids you’d like to bring.
