Location: The San Antonio Botanical Gardens

Included with general admission. Members enjoy this event for free.
BOOtanica Days, sponsored by H-E-B, celebrates the fall season at the Garden with a variety of hands-on activities and presentations for the whole family. Trek the Scarecrow Trail and explore the world of other creatures in the Garden. Dress up in your favorite costume and join a parade in the Garden at 12pm. Thanks to H-E-B, all guests enjoy $2 off admission to BOOtanica.

Toddler Art Play Spooktacular

Location: McNay Art Museum

Join us for some Spooky fun! Ask about toddler tours.
Toddler Art Play is held on the Third Friday of the month from 10:30-11:30 am throughout the museum. 
These are mini museum visits and creative playtime for children under 5 years. Wear paint clothes for a messy, fun time outside at the McNay.

Dia de los Muertos at Traders Village (INDOOR EVENT)

Saturday, October 21

9333 SW Loop 410 near Old Pearsall Road

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at Traders Village. Materials will be available for kids to make their own Dia de los Muertos masks. Dress in costume and stroll by the ornately decorated altars, see the works of artists, and enjoy dancing. This event is free to attend but parking is $4.

The Circle Fest!

Saturday, October 26: The Circle School, 217 Pershing Ave., 78209

4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Circle Fest offers kids activities, live music, delicious food and a raffle. The event also features a unique Pumpkin Path, where children hear stories from costumed characters on a path lined with pumpkins and luminaries during a fun-filled experience for the whole family. Costumes are encouraged. Free for kids under 15. Adults are $5 each.

Visit the Witte Museum every Tuesday for free!

Every Tuesday from 3-8 pm, the Witte Museum is free for you and your CASA kids. Be sure to take advantage of all of the enhanced activities and programs for free!

The Witte Museum is a staple of San Antonio and showcases science, natural history, health, and heritage of early South Texas and the surrounding environments. Free admission includes entrance to all permanent exhibits, the South Texas Heritage Center, and the HEB Body Adventure.

San Antonio Museum of Art

The San Antonio Museum of Art offers free admission twice a week on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Children 12 and under are always free.

Slab Cinema Offers Free Outdoor Movies!

Want to take your CASA kid to a unique movie experience? Slab Cinema, a local movie company, offers movies in the unique outdoor locations all over the city that you can take part of! The films are sponsored by local organizations around San Antonio like the San Antonio River Authority, the City of San Antonio, and the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA).
