Growing and Giving

Valero Energy

Valero Energy has generously donated $15,000 to Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) to sponsor the 7th Annual Breakfast of Champions.

The Breakfast of Champions will bring in new long term supporters for our CASA Advocates. By becoming a member of the Champions of Hope Society, the donation you provide to CASA is an investment in a child’s life and our community. This program builds a stronger foundation for expanding our program and provides a stable future for CASA. Your contribution provides the support we need to continue making a difference in the lives of Bexar County’s most vulnerable children.

For more information about the Breakfast of Champions please contact Forrest Miller at 210-225-7070 or

HEB CASA Tour of Champions

HEB and our Board Member, Carmen Gellhausen, recently hosted a CASA Tour of Champions at the HEB Headquarters at the Arsenal.  We truly appreciate their support and all the work they do so  we can continue to make positive change in our community.  For more information on how to host or attend a Tour of Champions, please contact Forrest Miller at 210-225-7070 or

Abby’s Closet  2015

Save the date, Advocates! Abby’s Closet will take place on March 28, 2015 this year. This event is dedicated to CASA girls ages 13 and up that need a dress for a school dance, church, or any other special occasion. For more information, please contact your Supervisor.

The Big Give SA 2015

Last year, CASA participated in The Big Give SA, a 24-hour day of online giving. In just one day we were able to raise $14,000 that went directly back to the CASA program. We set the bar high, and we plan on raising even more this year to help us reach our goal of serving 1,950 Bexar County children.

This year’s Big Give SA will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2015! Join us as we help the city raise over $2,000,000 for local non-profits. Start spreading the word by telling your friends to mark May 5th on their calendars to donate to CASA.
