CASA kicks off their Birdies for Charity campaign

Valero and CASA are working together for the annual Valero Texas Open Birdies for Charity.  The Valero Texas Open works annually with charities across Bexar County to raise awareness and donations for causes in our community.

Birdies for Charity is a no-cost fundraising program that gives 100% back to CASA, designed to give us the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open. All you’ll have to do is make a pledge for every birdie made at the Valero Texas Open. The 2016 Valero Texas Open had 1,834 birdies made, so a pledge of $0.01 yielded a donation of $18.34; even a one-time donation helps the cause of serving more abused and neglected children!

We’d love for you to get involved with Birdies for Charity and give back to your community in a fun way!

How Can You Help?

1) Click here to make a donation or pledge to CASA!

2) Share our other social media posts online, so more people know how to contribute!

3) Consider handing out Birdies for Charity donation forms to interested family or friends (or even bringing them to your office space!).  They are available for pick up here at the CASA office or we can mail them to you upon request.

All proceeds go directly to CASA.  Last year, we were one of the top charities and it takes your support to get us to number #1!  Our Advocate supervisors are in a competition to see who can bring in the most money, so help them win a day off by getting your friends and family to donate!

Please see Birdies for Charity for ways to get CASA to the top! Contact us at or 210-225-7070 for details.

Mark your calendar for the Big Give!

The Big Give had their kickoff this month and we are excited about the changes they have in store!  They have contracted with a new provider to ensure that the website issues of last year do not occur again.  In addition, the new providers offer a lower fee and a lot more freedom to personalize our messaging.  Mark your calendars for May 4th!
