Growing and Giving

The Spirit of Giving is going strong at CASA!
We thank all of the generous individuals and organizations who hosted toy drives so that each one of our children had special gifts to open at Christmas!

American Cheer Power; AT&T; Baker-Hughes; Capital Group; Children’s Hunger Fund; Children’s Welfare Board; Creative Designs by Helene; Direct Auto Insurance; Hermann Sons; Investment Professionals Inc.; Liam’s Love ‘N Luggage; Living Through Giving; Methodist Specialty Transplant E.R.; Office of Diego Bernal; Rosenberg Air; S.A. Auxiliary Bar Association; San Antonio Bar Foundation.

Whole Foods Market of San Antonio had a Community Giving Day for CASA!
Whole Foods chose CASA to take part of their Community Giving Day where they gives 5% of the day’s net sales to be directly donated to CASA. The support of Whole Foods raised enough money to help us recruit 6 more Advocates

Advocate Anna Flores threw a CASA Birthday Bash!
For Advocate Anna Flores’ birthday, she had a great idea; Anna came up with a creative way to throw a great party at La Fonda on Main and have all of her guests give a donation, instead of birthday presents, to help us serve more children of San Antonio and Bexar County. The attendees generously gave not only cash donations but gift cards to help our kiddos get new gear for the New Year! We are so appreciative of all of the support that Anna gives to CASA and all of the children she has impacted throughout her time as a dedicated Advocate.  What a creative way to support CASA!

If you would like to join in on this new birthday craze to give back to the community and CASA, let us know and we’ll make it happen for your special day!  Anna Flores has even offered to help plan your bash if you want the help!

Thank you, San Antonio Aquarium!
On Monday, January 25th, the San Antonio Aquarium hosted a personalized tour of all the wild sea creatures for our CASA kids! The San Antonio Aquarium generously donated an Advocate Experience for our community volunteers to share with the children they serve.

Art and Souls Galore!
Here at CASA, we like to help the abused and neglected children any way we can. One of our favorite ways to give back is our Art and Soul project. It not only allows the community to sponsor and get involved with CASA, but provides a safe place for CASA children and youth to express themselves in deeply meaningful and creative ways.

To start 2016, Junior League of San Antonio is sponsoring an Art and Soul on January 22 and will make personalized backpacks for our kids to take to school with them to remember forever. Their sponsorship covers the cost of food, supplies, and general operating expenses of the program and increase positive Advocate, adult, and child interactions. Junior League is just the first of many to bring in this New Year!

If you would like to sponsor your very own Art and Soul with your business or group, please contact or 210-225-7070 for more information!
