New Volunteer Training

CASA is excited to introduce you to James Douglas, the new Diversity Recruitment Coordinator.  CASA recently created this position in order to concentrate on recruiting volunteers from under-utilized groups so we can continue to have a strong, diverse base of volunteers to help serve our CASA children.  The more diverse our volunteer base, the better we can serve our youth because different cultures, backgrounds, and careers bring different skills and perspectives to the organization. James is a great addition to the recruitment team.  Please let us know if you have suggestions for groups we can connect with or new ideas on how to spread the message about the great need for more volunteers.  We will also be assembling a recruitment team composed of Advocates who are interested in helping us reach our diversity goals.  If you are interested, please contact Elisabeth Reise at or 210.225.7070.
