Advocate Impact - Ed Olson

Ed Olson took his first case about the time he was sworn in as an advocate in April, 2015. His case consisted of a sibling group of three: ages 5, 11, and 14.  Mr. Olson hit the ground running visiting his CASA children and gathering facts.

Advocate Tip: Right of Children in CPS Care

Children who are in the Temporary or Permanent Managing Conservatorship of Child Protective Services are entitled to a specific set of rights while they remain in care.

Advocating for PMC Children

Children who are in the Permanent Managing Conservatorship (PMC) of Child Protective Services are very often in need of a CASA volunteer who will be able to get to know the individual child and advocate for them while they remain in CPS care.
