CASA’s 10th Annual Champions of Hope Luncheon

CASA’s 10th Annual Champions of Hope Luncheon is April 4, 2018 from 11:30am-1pm at the Westin Riverwalk.

This annual event allows CASA to spread awareness and the community to pledge their multi-year financial support to help us provide Advocates for the victims of child abuse and neglect. With over 5,400 children in the foster system, this event gives us an opportunity to provide a voice for those who do not have the ability to speak up for themselves. Without an Advocate, abused children are less likely to receive necessary medical, educational, and developmental services. The Champions of Hope Luncheon helps us reach our most vulnerable population with a CASA Advocate.

Judge Peter Sakai will provide our keynote address. As the presiding judge over the Bexar County Children’s Court, he will provide in-depth insights into the changing welfare system and the state of child welfare in Bexar County. A highlight of our program each year are the Stories of Hope and Impact from our volunteer Advocates. This year we are pleased to share three testimonies on the positive impacts CASA Advocates make.

The 10th Annual Champions of Hope Luncheon brings us closer to providing an Advocate for every child who needs one in our community. We could not successfully accomplish our mission without community supporters, Advocates, and all those attending this year’s Luncheon.

CASA would like to specially thank this year’s sponsors. Sponsorships are still available.
