Children come into State care not by their own fault but because of the acts and/or negligence of their parents and caregivers. Through our community volunteers, we provide critical advocacy and services to these vulnerable, at-risk youth, ensuring that their needs and best interests are addressed. No other agency provides this unique, critical service in Bexar County.
Judge Peter Sakai of the 225th District Court emphasized the importance of CASA’s role in saying, “The best way to prevent child abuse is to stop the cycle. Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) gives these young victims what no agency can…..someone to speak up for them and someone to trust.”

To be selected as the President and CEO of CASA San Antonio is a privilege and an honor. I am thrilled to start working with the dedicated team and Board to continue to serve children in the San Antonio area.
My history as a foster then adopted child, is what drives my motivation to let displaced children and youth know they have a voice, are treasured, worthy and can overcome difficulties to become all they want to be. For many years, I volunteered for abused women and children, including being a CASA advocate. I believe all children have the absolute right to be loved and raised in a safe home.
Originally I am from the United Kingdom and came to Houston, Texas in 2007, moving to San Antonio in 2012. I am proud to be a dual citizen in my adopted home. My husband and I have a blended family of four adult children, three dogs and a parrot.
The majority of my career has been in the corporate world and ranges from finance to major IT implementations, creating a training division, manufacturing, production and shipping and running international customer service teams. In all these roles relationships and collaboration was essential.
Throughout my career, I have mentored and coached teams and individuals, so starting a Life coaching business in the UK, was a natural fit. I worked with corporate and private clients to ensure successful results it was a satisfying and fun business. In 2020, I completed an MBA in Leadership which supports this desire to serve others well.
I have previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Home, a not for profit focused on the treatment of substance use, primarily for women, an exceptional agency. I then took a hard and bold decision to join Chosen Care, as their Chief Operating Officer, this move was due to my passion for the welfare of children and the personal connection I have in the field. The not for profit sector is challenging and worth every minute of the dedication it takes, as you truly know you are making a difference.
Again, I am humbled to have been selected to serve CASA and look forward to the future as we continue to give children a voice with the amazing volunteer advocates, team, Board and wider community.
