We are proud to celebrate John Carlson of Sundt Foundation, a dedicated member of the CASA Board of Directors, who has been named a 2026 San Antonio Business Journal Impact Awards honoree!
The San Antonio Business Journal’s Impact Awards recognize the individuals, nonprofits, and companies whose leadership, service, and commitment are making a meaningful difference across our community. John is being recognized as one of this year’s outstanding volunteer board members. This honor reflects the time, expertise, and heart he brings to serving others.
At CASA, we know that advocacy takes many forms. Our Court Appointed Special Advocates stand beside children and youth experiencing foster care, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs remain at the center of important decisions. Behind that work is an entire community of people who advocate for our mission, including volunteer leaders like John.
Through his service on our Board of Directors, John helps strengthen CASA and our ability to continue growing toward our vision of providing an Advocate for every child experiencing foster care in Bexar County who needs one.
