Support Foster Children from the Safety of Your Home.
For seven years, CASA has celebrated the bond between children who have experienced foster care and their CASA Volunteer Advocates through a photographic exhibit at our Gallery of Hope event. This year, we have canceled the event due to COVID-19 precautions, but the need continues with more urgency than before. This fall, we are seeing increased reports of child abuse and neglect, and we need your help to meet the need!
It costs about $1500 to provide a highly trained and supported CASA Volunteer Advocates to one child. Last year’s Gallery of Hope helped provide advocates to 127 children! Your financial support will help provide an Advocate to each child quickly so they will have a trusted adult to rely on this year.
Although we will miss dancing the night away with you, we are still celebrating our Advocates and the children they serve with online and social media content you can peruse, a November silent auction of priceless art created by our CASA kids, and hearts full of gratitude for your generous support. We hope you will support our efforts this yearwith a 100% tax-deductible donation. By doing so, you ensure Bexar County children who have experienced abuse and neglect have someone to help make sure they have every opportunity for a bright, successful future.

With your help, Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) can provide a highly trained and supported Volunteer Advocate to children who have been placed in the child welfare system after abuse or neglect. Advocates are appointed by a judge to provide valuable information to the judge and others involved in the case to help ensure a child’s well-being. They help children’s voices to be heard, keep children connected to their siblings or other family members, ensure children receive the educational and medical services they need, and, most of all, give each child a trusted and constant adult in their lives until they find a safe and permanent placement.
